Accountant – Real Estate & QuickBooks Online

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented accountant with real‑estate experience to join our fast‑growing back‑office team. You will work remotely with clients across the United States, delivering accurate month‑end close, reconciliations and financial reporting that supports their growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting for multiple real‑estate clients, including AP/AR, bank and credit‑card reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Prepare, review and analyse monthly financial statements, management reports, budgets and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and address any discrepancies proactively.
• Perform job costing, project accounting and budget‑to‑actual analysis as required.
• Support tax compliance by preparing documentation and coordinating with external tax advisors and auditors.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams, providing insights to improve financial operations.
• Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls to increase accuracy and scalability.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real‑estate sector.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
• Fluent English (B2+), able to communicate with high‑profile clients.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment.
