Accounting Manager – Restaurant & Retail Tech (Remote)

About the role

Lead US accounting operations for restaurant and retail technology clients, acting as a true extension of US finance teams. You will oversee end‑to‑end accounting, ensure accuracy and scalability, and drive continuous process improvement while managing a lean team of accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a small team of accountants and mentor junior staff.
• Own client accounting operations, partnering directly with US Controllers and CFOs.
• Oversee close cycles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and scalability.
• Maintain alignment with US time‑zone requirements.

Required profile

• 6+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP expertise.
• Prior experience managing or mentoring junior accountants.
• Background in restaurant, retail, or multi‑location businesses is a plus.
• Advanced English communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work overlapping US business hours.
