Android Application Developer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking an experienced Android Application Developer to join its fully remote, globally distributed team. You will create high‑quality mobile applications for Android devices, working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for a range of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin or Java.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define and ship new features.
• Integrate external data sources and RESTful APIs to provide seamless mobile experiences.
• Write unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and improve overall app quality.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development processes.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong understanding of the Android SDK and multiple Android OS versions.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and mobile app integration.
• Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git.
• Advanced level of English communication skills.
