Bilingual Medical Receptionist / On-Call Weekend Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Receptionist who will also serve as the On‑Call Weekend Coordinator for a home‑care agency. The position is fully remote and requires managing high call volumes, coordinating caregiver coverage, and maintaining accurate records in agency systems.

Key responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and route high‑volume calls related to staffing, patient needs, and agency services.
• Monitor and verify caregiver attendance for scheduled home health aide (HHA) and personal care (PDN) cases.
• Respond promptly to caregiver call‑outs, missed visits, and attendance concerns.
• Coordinate coverage for open cases and missed visits to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Communicate scheduling changes and urgent updates to patients, families, caregivers, and staff.
• Document calls, incidents, attendance updates, and case information in HHA Exchange and other agency platforms.
• Escalate urgent clinical, staffing, or operational matters to supervisors as needed.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Highly computer‑savvy and comfortable navigating multiple software systems.
• Organized, professional, and calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HHA Exchange.
