Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Buyer to support procurement activities across global regions. The role involves creating accurate purchase orders, maintaining procurement records, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing.

Key responsibilities

• Build and follow processes in line with established SOPs and guidelines.
• Perform administrative and operational tasks for assigned teams.
• Gather and summarize data to support procurement activities.
• Procure IT goods and other services, including vendor sourcing and setup for indirect purchasing.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive technical, financial, and commercial information.
• Develop supplier relationships to secure best price, quantity, and delivery terms.
• Process requisitions, update management on order status, and manage inventory levels.
• Generate weekly/monthly reports, maintain databases, and present findings to management.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for deviations and support audit processes.
• Coordinate with multiple teams for material delivery, receipts, invoicing, and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Administration, Business, Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in procurement or supply‑chain operations.
• At least 2 years of experience with the Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) cycle.
• Knowledge of 3‑way matching (PO, invoice, goods receipt).
• Ability to maintain project/contract/quotation status in business systems.
