Cloud Security Architect - AWS

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Application & Cloud Security Architect to join our Cybersecurity team. The role focuses on protecting AWS‑hosted public applications and enterprise cloud environments through robust security architecture and DevSecOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the security architect for AWS‑hosted public applications.
• Define and enforce cloud and application security standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and engineering teams to secure infrastructure and applications.
• Implement and manage security solutions such as WAF, CNAPP, and CSPM tools.
• Embed security controls throughout the SDLC and DevOps pipelines.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and remediation planning.
• Promote DevSecOps practices and security automation.
• Guide development teams on secure design, coding standards, and vulnerability prevention.
• Monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends.
• Support incident response and security governance initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in application security, web security engineering, and security architecture.
• Strong hands‑on experience securing AWS‑hosted web applications and cloud environments.
• Proven ability to integrate security into SDLC and DevOps pipelines.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and collaboration skills.
