Designer/Brand Designer – Mid Level

About the role

Gensler is seeking a mid‑level Designer/Brand Designer to support the Design Director in shaping meaningful, culturally‑responsive environments. You will work alongside architects, strategists, and brand designers to develop concepts that balance beauty and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Design Director and Senior Designer in creating overall design concepts.
• Formulate and deliver design presentation strategies.
• Provide creative leadership across multiple design teams throughout all project phases.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on programming, strategy, conceptual and schematic design, design development, space planning, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate project milestones, budgets, and schedules with internal and external partners.
• Produce plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections for construction.
• Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections.
• Work with consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, contractors, and fabricators to meet project objectives.
• Communicate design ideas clearly to the project team and contribute to office culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of architectural design experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and graphic presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and structural systems.
