DevOps Engineer – Medellín

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a Java‑focused international project for at least one year. You will work closely with a development team, ensuring the quality, security, and reliability of every deployment while communicating in English.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and operate the Kong API Gateway (API Manager).
• Configure, optimize, and maintain Jenkins pipelines.
• Integrate unit testing and quality control using SonarQube.
• Implement and maintain logging and monitoring with Kibana and/or Grafana.
• Design dashboards and visualise metrics for the team.
• Configure security reporting, including SAST, DAST and dependency analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement of CI/CD processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Proficient English (B2) – written and spoken.

Required skills

• Jenkins pipeline configuration and optimisation.
• SonarQube integration and quality gate management.
• Kibana and/or Grafana for logging and monitoring.
• Security tooling: SAST, DAST, dependency scanning.
• Kong API Gateway administration (strong plus).
• Windows and Linux system administration.
• Cloud deployment experience, especially AWS (nice to have).
