Director, AI & Data Strategy - Enterprise Engagement

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director to lead the AI & Data Strategy for Enterprise Engagement. In this senior position you will shape the experience and intelligence of an AI‑powered intake platform that guides users from idea generation to execution readiness across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and improve the user experience for discovering, submitting, and refining AI use cases.
• Own core components of the AI‑driven intake platform, including user interfaces, agent workflows, decision logic, and contextual layers.
• Apply a “do, then automate” mindset to convert manual processes into scalable, agent‑driven workflows.
• Partner with business units to translate real‑world needs into intelligent guidance and decision frameworks.
• Collaborate with AI Strategy, Engineering, Legal, and Governance teams to embed enterprise platforms and compliance requirements.
• Drive stakeholder adoption of the platform as the primary entry point for AI and data initiatives.
• Create system artifacts such as agent workflows, decision models, user journeys, and automated guidance.
• Collect and synthesize feedback to continuously enhance platform intelligence and usability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading user‑facing experience design or technical implementation of AI solutions.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into actionable, scalable workflows.
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
