Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A

About the role

RentingCarz Holdings is looking for a Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A to join its finance team in Medellín, Colombia. You will act as a financial business partner to leadership across sales, marketing, operations, IT, product, and HR, providing analysis and insights that drive strategic decisions for both B2C and B2B travel marketplace brands.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with commercial, operations, marketing, IT, product, and HR leaders to support resource allocation and investment decisions.
• Oversee preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across entities.
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and cash‑flow projections for both business lines.
• Manage supplier payments, working‑capital, and payment terms.
• Collaborate with IT on technology investment planning and with product on new‑initiative financial evaluation.
• Support HR on workforce planning, headcount budgeting, and compensation analysis.
• Measure and report marketing performance metrics (ROAS, CAC, LTV, cohort retention, conversion rates, attribution).
• Monitor chargeback and fraud trends, quantifying impact for corrective actions.
• Prepare clear financial reports, dashboards, and scorecards for leadership and ownership.
• Conduct ad‑hoc strategic analyses and multi‑entity reporting as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, consulting, or investment analysis.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with senior leaders.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to non‑financial stakeholders.
