English Teacher – Part-Time (Remote)

About the role

Slang is seeking a part‑time remote English teacher to deliver engaging online classes for adult learners ranging from beginner to intermediate levels. You will work with a diverse set of professionals who need to improve their workplace English across many industries.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver interactive Slang online classes using the curriculum provided by the instructional design team.
• Maintain accurate user‑progress documentation and follow‑up records.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and class participation.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation.
• Attend training sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay aligned with instructional strategies.
• Communicate effectively with students, addressing questions and offering guidance.
• Uphold professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.

Required profile

• Passion for teaching English to adult learners.
• Basic knowledge of Task‑Based Learning (TBL) methodologies.
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast‑growing, product‑driven startup.
• Ability to engage learners from Pre‑A1 to B2 levels.
