Financial Accounting & Controlling Senior Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable and hands‑on Finance & Accounting Senior Specialist to own finance operations for our Colombian subsidiary and U.S. parent company. This high‑impact position ensures the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of financial processes across both jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations for the assigned entities, guaranteeing accurate transaction recording and compliance.
• Coordinate timely processing of sales invoices, accounts payable, payroll, travel & expense, amortization and depreciation.
• Own the end‑to‑end month‑end close and prepare the Monthly Management Report Package.
• Maintain a continuous‑audit environment by preparing and approving balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee auditors, external accountants and tax advisors.
• Ensure payroll and personnel cost accounting complies with local legislation.
• Develop and monitor continuous‑improvement initiatives in day‑to‑day operations.
• Support budget preparation and identify cost‑saving opportunities to improve EBITDA.
• Enforce local purchase‑order policies, payment terms, expense approvals and receipt confirmations.
• Prepare management performance reports aligned with the trial balance.
• Ensure timely monthly and annual closures in line with internal and statutory deadlines.
• Support banking operations, cash‑flow management and local banking relationships.
• Track, control and transfer intercompany costs according to defined parameters.
• Adhere to Group administrative policies and contribute to their development.

Required profile

• Senior‑level finance professional with hands‑on experience in accounting and controlling.
• Proven ability to manage finance operations across multiple jurisdictions (Colombia and the United States).
• Strong knowledge of local accounting, tax and payroll regulations.
• Experience leading month‑end close, audit processes and external auditor coordination.
• Ability to develop and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical skills to support budgeting, cost‑control and EBITDA improvement.
