Forensic Accountant Consultant

About the role

Control Risks is seeking a Consultant – Forensic Accountant to join its Compliance, Forensics & Intelligence team in Bogotá. You will support regional and multinational clients by delivering forensic accounting investigations, compliance program reviews, and risk‑management consulting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct complex forensic accounting investigations, including transactional test work, data analysis and report preparation across multiple sectors.
• Support multi‑jurisdictional engagements for international organisations and collaborate with colleagues in other regions.
• Assist in scoping engagements, managing day‑to‑day activities and cultivating long‑term client relationships through high‑quality project delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum seven years of experience in compliance, accounting or financial functions.
• Experience living and working in Spanish‑speaking Latin America.
• Fluency in Spanish (written and oral) and advanced business English.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to present ideas persuasively to business audiences.

Required skills

• Financial evidence analysis and transaction testing.
• Data analysis and preparation of concise financial reports.
• Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, CFE or CAMS.
