Infrastructure Support Engineer (Mid-Level)

About the role

IDEMIA is seeking a Mid‑Level Infrastructure Support Engineer to join its Colombian site in Yumbo. You will be responsible for maintaining the stability, security and continuity of the company’s IT infrastructure, working on‑site with internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, network devices, virtualization platforms and backup systems.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Support system upgrades, software installations and asset management processes.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders on projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to service continuity, system availability and process optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (completed or in progress).
• Intermediate English proficiency (B1‑B2).
• Proven experience in system administration, networking, virtualization and overall IT infrastructure support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
