Intake Specialist (Remote)

About the role

This role suits a bilingual, energetic professional who enjoys talking to people, qualifying leads and guiding them through a smooth sales and intake process. As the firm's first point of contact with potential new clients, you screen and qualify leads, schedule initial consultations and make sure everyone who reaches out leaves better off, through a consultation, a referral or helpful resources. You work closely with the sales team and the Firm Administrator, under the supervision of an attorney.

Key responsibilities

• Talk to leads and ask questions to identify qualified prospects, the right legal issues, urgency and motivation, and possible conflicts of interest.
• Screen out unqualified leads and schedule qualified ones for initial consultations.
• Run the pre-engagement process for scheduled prospects to build excitement and improve attendance.
• Keep everyone better off by scheduling consultations, referring to another firm or sharing free resources.
• Prepare salespeople for consultations and prepare engagement agreements, following up until prospects sign and pay.
• Stay in touch with leads who do not schedule, do not show up or do not sign, keeping the door open.
• Update databases, reports and spreadsheets tracking calls, qualified leads, consultations, referrals and other metrics.

Required profile

• Fluent spoken and written Spanish and English.
• Prior customer service experience (required).
• Sales background; energetic and professional.
• Education or work experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree (a degree is a plus).
• Knowledge of the legal industry and real-life experience overcoming a major obstacle are assets.

Required skills

• CRM experience, especially data tracking and reporting (required).
