Lead Mobile Engineer (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Mobile Engineer to design, build, and scale high‑quality native applications for iOS and Android. The role is fully remote, focused on LATAM, and offers the chance to lead multiple projects while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Build, ship, and support production‑grade apps with emphasis on performance and reliability.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, UI).
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs such as Firebase.
• Break down large technical initiatives into actionable deliverables.
• Improve existing or legacy codebases to enhance scalability and maintainability.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional experience in native mobile development (iOS and Android).
• Great English proficiency (B2+ written and spoken).
• Impeccable punctuality and ability to attend meetings on time.

Required skills

• Swift and Xcode for iOS development.
• Java or Kotlin and Android Studio for Android development.
• Firebase or similar third‑party services integration.
• Automated testing (unit, integration, UI).
• Object‑oriented design and clean code practices.
• Node.js or serverless/cloud functions (nice to have).
