Level 1 SOC Analyst

About the role

Join Inchcape's Digital Delivery Centres as a Level 1 SOC Analyst and become part of a global team driving digital innovation in the automotive industry. You will work in a collaborative environment, monitoring and responding to security incidents while developing your cybersecurity expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and triage security alerts and incidents using SOC tools and platforms.
• Respond to and escalate incidents according to defined SLAs and severity levels.
• Perform initial threat analysis and identify indicators of compromise (IOCs).
• Support containment, eradication, and recovery activities in partnership with resolver teams.
• Collaborate with L2 analysts and the SOC Lead on complex investigations.
• Document incidents clearly, including root cause, actions taken, and recommendations.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center or a similar cybersecurity role.
• Hands‑on experience with incident detection, investigation, and response.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, logs, alerts, and core security concepts.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence, data classification, and vulnerability concepts.
• Ability to analyze logs and network traffic to identify potential threats.
• Strong communication skills for clear incident reporting.
