Manager, Finance Business Partner

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Finance Business Partner to lead advanced financial analytics for technology investment decisions. The role blends strong financial fundamentals with hands‑on data analysis, supporting the translation of technical inputs into clear financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable financial models and analytical tools for technology investment evaluations.
• Perform scenario, sensitivity, and driver‑based analysis to assess financial impacts of technology initiatives.
• Translate engineering, infrastructure, and capacity inputs into structured financial datasets.
• Develop standardized modeling engines and reusable analytical frameworks.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and product teams to understand technical drivers and data sources.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Finance Business Partners, and Controllership to ensure consistency with forecasts, budgets, and actuals.
• Maintain model hygiene, documentation, and version control for auditability.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve modeling efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Support rollout and adoption of analytics tools, dashboards, and data pipelines.
• Generate clear visualizations and insights for Finance and Technology leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience in financial analytics, FP&A, data‑driven modeling, or technology finance.
• Strong Excel skills with ability to build structured, scalable models.
• Hands‑on experience with analytics or automation tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, Python, SQL, Domo, or Anaplan.
