Manager Non Trade Procurement

About the role

The Manager Non Trade Procurement leads the sourcing and purchasing of indirect goods and services that support adidas' business operations. Working within Global Business Services, the role ensures standardized processes, cost control, policy compliance and effective supplier management across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute tactical buying processes, analysing mid‑value purchases and supporting high‑value buys with category managers.
• Conduct sourcing projects, negotiate contracts, select suppliers and address commercial or system‑related queries.
• Run e‑Sourcing events in Ariba and follow up on technical evaluations to keep tendering timelines on track.
• Negotiate purchase order terms, initiate order signatures, and manage PO distribution, changes and closures.
• Support tail‑spend reduction by channeling spend through strategic suppliers and standardised contracts.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative feedback on tactical buying activity to drive standardisation and automation.
• Assist with catalogue item RFQs, contract creation using standard templates, and automated buying channel introductions.
• Collaborate with internal finance, compliance and global procurement teams on strategic initiatives.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
