Médico/a General para Plantas de Producción

About the role

Cargill is seeking a General Physician to provide medical care at its production plants in Colombia. The role supports the regional health supervisor by delivering on‑site medical services, reducing absenteeism, handling work‑related injuries, and promoting health and disease‑prevention programs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care to the workforce and refer patients to external health entities when needed.
• Prepare monthly management reports in accordance with company guidelines.
• Plan and execute health promotion and disease‑prevention activities at assigned locations.
• Assist with occupational health management across the sites.
• Perform other duties typical of a medical professional in an industrial setting.

Required profile

• Medical degree (Physician).
• Minimum one year of experience after completing the mandatory rural service, preferably in outpatient consultation.
• Experience designing and implementing prevention and promotion programs in line with Colombian law.
• Ability to manage medical emergencies.

Required skills

• Advanced Life Support certification.
• Emergency care handling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
