Packaging Engineer

About the role

As a member of the Design and Packaging Department, you will create innovative packaging solutions that meet consumer preferences and support Colgate‑Palmolive’s global strategies. The role spans concept design, material selection, and technical execution across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of new packaging systems from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with marketing and manufacturing requirements.
• Execute the strategic activity grid with on‑time delivery and technical accuracy.
• Identify and implement emerging packaging trends, materials, and technologies to enhance product perception.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Consumer Insights, external vendors, and supply‑chain teams to prepare launch‑ready packaging.
• Drive cost‑saving projects (Funding the Growth) to improve margins and meet supply‑chain objectives.
• Support sustainability initiatives by developing environmentally friendly packaging and executing the regional sustainability roadmap.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design Engineering, or Material Science.
• Minimum 3 years experience in consumer goods (CPG) or pharmaceutical packaging development.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).
