Remote Accounting Manager – U.S. Focus

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support a key financial services client. This fully remote position focuses on U.S. accounting practices and requires a proactive mindset to thrive in fast‑moving startup environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for U.S.-based clients, including reconciliations, month‑end close, and financial reporting.
• Serve as the primary accounting point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery.
• Apply startup accounting principles to balance best practices with limited resources.
• Integrate and optimize external applications with QuickBooks Online.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and vendor/client interactions.
• Utilize tools such as QuickBooks Online, Slack, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, and Google Drive on a daily basis.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies; CPA preferred.
• Proven ability to manage external stakeholders, preferably from public accounting or client‑facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of startup accounting practices and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Fluent professional English, both written and verbal.
