Remote Video Editor – Podcasts & Social Media

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Video Editor to lead the creation of high‑performing video content for podcasts, YouTube, and social media platforms. You will own the entire production workflow—from ideation to publishing—focusing on long‑form video podcasts and repurposing them into short‑form clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and paid social campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and edit long‑form video podcast episodes.
• Transform podcast footage into engaging short‑form clips for various social platforms.
• Manage end‑to‑end video production, including planning, editing, post‑production, and publishing.
• Create social‑first video content optimized for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and paid ads.
• Collaborate with the graphic designer and marketing team to ensure brand‑aligned visual content.
• Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and video style best practices.
• Guide video editing standards and content structures that drive audience growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on video production experience, preferably in fast‑paced media or marketing environments.
• Proven ability to produce and edit long‑form podcast content and repurpose it for short‑form social media.
• Strong storytelling instincts with a focus on pacing, emotional impact, and audience retention.
• Minimum B2 English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Self‑motivated, able to manage multiple projects autonomously.
