Research Scientist – Crop Protection Trials

About the role

The Research Scientist will design, implement and manage greenhouse and open‑field trials to evaluate the efficacy, crop tolerance and residue profiles of the company’s crop protection and nutritional products. The role provides scientific expertise for data interpretation and communication.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and execute experimental efficacy trials in laboratory, greenhouse and field according to sponsor protocols and annual trial planning.
• Recommend study‑protocol improvements and ensure compliance with GEP and GLP guidelines.
• Prepare experimental materials, manage product applications, conduct artificial inoculations and evaluate performance.
• Maintain trial databases, draft final reports under supervision, and oversee breeding or rearing of living organisms.
• Coordinate field trial visits, support marketing and commercial teams, and ensure equipment safety and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• High‑school or bachelor degree in agriculture, biology or related science.
• Several years of experience conducting greenhouse and open‑field research trials for crop protection.
• Good oral and written English proficiency.
