Scientific Communication Specialist

About the role

As a Scientific Communication Specialist based in Bogotá, you will serve as the scientific anchor for L'Oréal’s Dermatological Beauty brands across Central America and the Andean Region. Reporting to the Medical Manager, you will translate complex scientific data into compelling communication strategies that reinforce brand credibility and support medical teams in engaging healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt scientific content and communication tools for all medical touchpoints.
• Drive multichannel medical communication strategies, both online and offline.
• Analyze scientific trends, competitor activities, and medical insights to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing and medical teams to ensure scientific accuracy across brand communications.
• Support organization and execution of key medical events, congresses, and training sessions.

Required profile

• A degree in a health‑related field (General Medical Practitioner or Dermatologist preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or dermo‑cosmetic industry, preferably in a medical or scientific communication role.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate scientific data into brand stories.
• Strategic thinking to assess the medical landscape and contribute to brand strategy.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects.
