Securities & Derivatives Intermediate Analyst

About the role

The Securities & Derivatives Intermediate Analyst supports the processing of securities and derivatives transactions for trading desks and branch offices. Working closely with the Operations – Transaction Services team, the role ensures smooth clearance, settlement and investigation of client trades.

Key responsibilities

• Process securities transactions and provide analytical input for traders.
• Utilize data analysis tools and professional judgement to recommend process improvements.
• Resolve settlement‑related issues, escalating complex cases and proposing solutions.
• Participate in project implementations, including new products, services and platform upgrades.
• Identify policy gaps and develop new policies to streamline trade‑flow processes.
• Monitor errors, provide risk‑mitigating solutions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Offer informal guidance and on‑the‑job training to new team members.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in market operations or related functions.
• Strong understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
