Security Engineer

About the role

Proximus Global is seeking a Security Engineer to lead and evolve the security posture of its Telesign business unit. Reporting to the CISO, you will manage the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Personal Information Management System (PIMS) and ensure alignment with international standards and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the ISMS/PIMS in compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2025.
• Drive compliance initiatives for SOC 2 and HIPAA.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer security audits and assessments.
• Develop and execute a security roadmap, integrating projects into services and infrastructure.
• Lead information classification, data protection, risk assessment, and role‑based permission design.
• Design and develop SOC engineering solutions, including correlation rule creation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in information security governance within a large‑scale technology environment.
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC 2 and HIPAA requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with legal, privacy, HR, product, sales and executive teams.
• Ability to represent security interests to vendors, customers and partners.
