Senior Data Center Architect

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Data Center Architect to join its Bogotá office. The role focuses on planning, designing, and delivering architectural solutions for data center and other infrastructure projects within an enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, and delivery of architectural projects, ensuring coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce high‑level technical documentation and design guides under senior supervision.
• Utilize advanced tools such as Revit, BIM 360, and digital collaboration platforms to achieve precise and efficient outcomes.
• Support the development and application of global standards, sustainability practices, and compliance with codes and AECOM quality procedures.
• Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and consulting teams across multiple locations.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Architecture (required).
• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in architectural design, drafting, and construction documentation.
• Experience coordinating interdisciplinary teams on large‑scale projects.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2‑C1 level); additional languages are a plus.
• Basic understanding of building codes, permitting processes, and industrial facility requirements.
