Senior Web Platform Engineer – Marketing & Performance

About the role

Hubstaff is looking for a Senior Web Platform Engineer to own and evolve the frontend architecture of its marketing site. This fully remote, full‑time position focuses on delivering fast, SEO‑friendly, and maintainable user experiences using Astro, Vue 3, and Payload CMS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the Astro + Vue 3 frontend stack.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to turn UI/UX concepts into accessible, responsive code.
• Extend integrations with Payload CMS and other headless CMS platforms, creating reusable content structures.
• Implement static‑rendering strategies and continuously improve Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse scores.
• Support and maintain self‑hosted WordPress resources, ensuring security and seamless integration.
• Document developer and content‑editor workflows and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Introduce automated frontend testing and stay current with best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• At least 2 years working with Vue.js or comparable component frameworks.
• Proven experience with static site generators and headless CMS integrations.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and SEO‑friendly rendering.
