Software Engineer – Payments Platform

About the role

Join bet365's Payments team to design, develop, and maintain critical payment systems that handle millions of transactions daily. You will work with a high‑performing group of engineers on a full‑stack platform undergoing a ground‑up re‑architecture using modern technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the Payments platform, including integrations with multiple payment providers.
• Build and maintain balance and transaction management services.
• Create core operational tooling and support existing code bases.
• Participate in the migration to Golang, React, and cloud‑native architectures.
• Identify technical improvements and contribute to solution proposals.

Required profile

• Commercial experience in web client or server‑side development.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working in fast‑changing, high‑volume environments.
• Familiarity with software development best practices and automation tooling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
