Técnico/a Desarrollo de Mercado Sr (Los Llanos)

About the role

The Senior Market Development Technician will promote BASF’s agricultural portfolio to growers in the Los Llanos region. You will create technical and commercial arguments, demonstrate product benefits, and strengthen customer relationships to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Position and promote BASF’s product portfolio to farmers through technical presentations and field demonstrations.
• Develop and deliver value‑added arguments and benefit‑based selling methodologies.
• Identify market needs, new technologies, and adapt solutions to customer requirements.
• Organise and manage demonstration plots and field activities.
• Collaborate with sales and other commercial actors to meet regional sales objectives.

Required profile

• University degree in Agronomic Engineering.
• Minimum four years of experience in market development and technical advisory.
• Hands‑on experience with field activities, demonstration plot set‑up, and direct customer interaction.
• Strong knowledge of rice and maize crops.
• Residence in the Los Llanos region, preferably Villavicencio.
