Base Manager – On‑site Operations Lead

About the role

The Base Manager will be based on‑site in Cartagena, overseeing the daily operations of KDT's base. This contract position ensures that all activities run efficiently, safely, and in line with the company’s Code of Virtues. You will work closely with leadership and team members to maintain a high level of operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise base personnel and coordinate shift schedules.
• Plan and execute logistics, resource allocation, and supply chain activities.
• Enforce security protocols, conduct risk assessments, and manage crisis response.
• Maintain operational readiness of facilities and equipment.
• Collaborate with leadership to uphold KDT standards and performance metrics.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship (non‑negotiable).
• Active Secret security clearance (non‑negotiable).
• Proven leadership and team‑management experience in demanding environments.
• Strong background in logistics, resource management, and operational readiness.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Physical and mental stamina for a rigorous, dynamic setting.
• Experience in private security, military, or law‑enforcement is highly beneficial.
• Fluent Spanish; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
