Human Resources Manager – Colombia (Remote)

About the role

Porch Group is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR activities for its Colombia workforce. The role is fully remote and will be administered through the company’s Employer of Record partner, RemoFirst. You will act as the bridge between corporate HR and local employees, ensuring compliance, payroll, onboarding and employee engagement align with Porch’s culture and global HR strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the EOR vendor to manage the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits and off‑boarding.
• Ensure Colombian HR operations are consistent with corporate HR policies and the overall People strategy.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, mediating between managers and staff.
• Advise on Colombian labor law compliance, monitor regulatory changes and coordinate with legal counsel.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, training and development programs.
• Maintain accurate HR data in Workday and reconcile records with the EOR.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing HR functions for a Colombian workforce, preferably in a remote or distributed environment.
• Strong knowledge of Colombian labor legislation, including the Código Sustantivo del Trabajo.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across cultures.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global HR teams.
