Technician II – Maintenance

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Technician II – Maintenance to support multiple specializations within the maintenance sub‑family. The role involves applying basic knowledge of job procedures and tools gained through hands‑on experience, while contributing to the reliability of high‑voltage and power grid technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks across various equipment and systems.
• Interpret and, when necessary, deviate from standard procedures to resolve issues.
• Communicate technical information that may require explanation or interpretation to supervisors and team members.
• Support the upkeep of transformers, automation units, and power electronics.

Required profile

• Experienced para‑professional (S2) with vocational or technical education.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision.
• Problem‑solving mindset for routine and occasional non‑standard situations.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and procedures.
• Familiarity with high‑voltage equipment and power grid components.
