Accountant – Remote (Bogota) – Healthcare Finance

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join Pharmbills, supporting healthcare providers by managing financial transactions and client accounts. The role starts on‑site in Bogota and becomes fully remote after a successful trial period.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client accounts, cooperate with insurance companies, update patient records and ensure data accuracy.
• Track payments and billing, process, monitor and verify financial transactions.
• Perform data entry and policy verification to keep insurance and financial records up to date.
• Generate monthly financial summaries and client‑requested reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with security and regulatory guidelines.
• Resolve account issues and handle internal system tickets.

Required profile

• Experience in accounting, preferably within healthcare or insurance.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher).
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
