Android Developer (Bilingual) – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

Coforge is seeking a bilingual Android Developer to join its remote LATAM team. You will design, build, and maintain high‑quality Android applications using Kotlin while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android apps with Kotlin and Android Studio.
• Implement automated UI tests using Espresso and support quality‑assurance initiatives.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with Buildkite and GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance or functional issues.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development standards.
• Manage tasks, defects, and deliverables through JIRA and XRay within Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
• Support integrations with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data‑driven or AI‑related features.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Kotlin and Android Studio.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks, especially Espresso.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Buildkite and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and use of JIRA/XRay.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in distributed teams.
