Associate Attorney – US Employment Litigation (Remote, Colombia)

About the role

The Associate Attorney will support a U.S. employment law practice by handling high‑stakes litigation that protects employee rights. Working remotely from Colombia, you will contribute to case strategy, development, and resolution across civil litigation, trial, and appellate work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in all phases of employment litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Draft complaints for state agencies and courts, as well as discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and prepare briefs for summary judgment.
• Interview witnesses, manage document production, and organize case files.
• Participate in depositions, trial work, and appellate proceedings.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in employment litigation.
• Strong knowledge of United States employment law; familiarity with Maine or Massachusetts law is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
