DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation & CI/CD

About the role

Rapyd is building a global fintech platform and needs a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and scale its cloud infrastructure. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure high availability, fast releases, and secure multi‑account AWS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Write scalable Terraform and Python code to automate cloud resources and operational processes.
• Deploy, scale, and optimise micro‑services on Kubernetes (EKS).
• Design, maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for reliable releases.
• Configure multi‑account AWS architectures, VPCs, routing and security controls.
• Drive observability, performance tuning and cost optimisation using CloudWatch, Datadog or ELK.
• Ensure deployments meet SOC 2, PCI‑DSS and other security standards.
• Build reusable IaC modules and take them through production delivery.
• Participate in system health monitoring and root‑cause analysis to maximise platform availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on DevOps, SRE or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven experience operating production workloads on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, VPC routing and security concepts.
