DevOps/Platform Engineer

About the role

EPAM is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to join its modernization team. You will design, deploy, and maintain reliable, scalable infrastructure while shaping the future automation architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current build and deployment pipelines and identify improvement opportunities.
• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Contribute to the evolution of the automation architecture for the modernization team.
• Ensure system reliability and scalability through proactive monitoring and performance tuning.
• Manage platform and capability deployments across multiple environments.
• Troubleshoot issues independently and apply fixes.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to guarantee security and compliance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 level or higher).
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Azure cloud services.
• Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, Helm.
• Networking concepts related to containerized environments.
• CI/CD tools: Azure Pipelines, Terraform, Argo, GitHub Actions.
• Programming languages: C#, Java, Python.
