Director of Paid Advertising

About the role

Power Digital is seeking a Director of Paid Advertising to lead a pod of strategists in a remote, Colombia‑based setting. This player‑coach role combines senior individual contribution, people management, and product leadership across a chosen channel (Creative, Paid Media, Organic Search, or Social). You will own both the talent and the quality of work delivered to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a pod of strategists, handling hiring, onboarding, and day‑to‑day people leadership.
• Develop individual development plans, coaching cadences, and mentorship for each team member.
• Maintain pod retention through positive sentiment, psychological safety, and clear growth paths.
• Provide executive‑level oversight for client accounts, acting as Account Director on high‑priority projects.
• Drive innovation and AI adoption, leveraging proprietary tools (Omega, Nova) to improve workflows and performance.

Required profile

• 7‑8 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 5 years in an agency setting.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on, expert‑level experience in Paid Media.
• 5+ years of experience managing a team, including performance management and development planning.
