Finance Manager – Multinational Industrial Company

About the role

This confidential search is for a Finance Manager to lead the finance function of a leading multinational industrial company in Colombia. The role offers strategic influence, regional exposure and the chance to shape financial performance in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance function for the Colombian operation, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Prepare accurate, timely financial statements, budgets, forecasts and executive reports.
• Manage treasury activities, cash‑flow planning, banking relationships and foreign‑currency transactions.
• Oversee tax compliance, external audits and regulatory reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance and risk‑management processes.
• Partner with regional and global finance teams on reporting, planning and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop the local finance team while driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent certification highly desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Previous experience in a multinational environment, preferably in manufacturing, industrial or engineering sectors.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish and advanced English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Colombian accounting/tax regulations.
• Extensive experience with financial planning, budgeting, treasury and internal controls.
• ERP expertise – SAP preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and financial modeling capability.
