Fullstack Engineer – React & Node/Python (PWA)

About the role

Talan is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to join a 4‑month contract delivering a high‑performance Progressive Web App (PWA) built with React. The role focuses on creating a mobile‑first experience with offline capabilities, efficient data synchronization, and robust authentication.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, design and develop the end‑to‑end PWA solution using React and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain backend APIs with Python/FastAPI and/or Node.js, connected to PostgreSQL.
• Implement image management, storage, and caching strategies.
• Design client‑server synchronization processes and offline functionality using Service Workers and IndexedDB.
• Optimize performance, architecture, and UI/UX for mobile devices.
• Integrate OAuth 2.0 authentication with Microsoft services.
• Handle deployment and release processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing mobile‑first PWAs with React and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building APIs with Python/FastAPI or Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with offline‑first patterns, Service Workers, and IndexedDB.
• Familiarity with image optimization and caching techniques.
