Junior Data Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join a Fortune 100 US‑based company on a remote, long‑term basis. You will support data engineering initiatives that improve data quality and enable better business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Support ongoing data engineering efforts, focusing on data pipelines and data cleansing.
• Extract, cleanse, process, and evaluate data from multiple field sources to enhance store operations and sales analytics.
• Assist in building ETL solutions, data pipelines, and data models.
• Collaborate with other data teams to optimise processes and streamline enhancement requests.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of hands‑on data engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Proficiency with AWS services such as SQS, Kinesis, EventBridge, S3, and Lambda.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, real‑time streaming, and ETL concepts.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and models.
