Junior Full Stack Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join One Sutherland’s technology team. You will work on end‑to‑end feature delivery, building responsive front‑end interfaces and robust back‑end services while collaborating with product, support and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive front‑end UI and scalable back‑end APIs.
• Leverage AWS services (EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, EBS, CloudWatch) to build and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and orchestrate containerised workloads using Kubernetes and Helm.
• Design, deploy and optimise relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL or Aurora.
• Write Python scripts (and PowerShell/Perl where needed) to automate build, deployment and operational tasks.
• Automate configuration management and software deployment with Ansible.
• Set up monitoring and logging (e.g., CloudWatch) and troubleshoot issues across the stack.
• Apply networking and security fundamentals (IP, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, SSL) to secure cloud‑hosted applications.
• Collaborate closely with development, product support and operations teams.

Required profile

• Highly motivated self‑starter with a passion for learning.
• Junior‑level experience or academic projects in full‑stack development.
• Strong analytical mindset and curiosity about business value.
