Lead Mobile App Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Mobile App Developer to own and drive the development of high‑quality Android and iOS applications used by customers worldwide. Based in Colombia and working in a fully remote, product‑focused environment, you will combine hands‑on engineering with technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced mobile applications for Android and iOS.
• Define technical strategy, architecture patterns and coding standards to ensure scalable, reliable, high‑performance solutions.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor team members on best practices.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners and backend engineers to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Integrate external data sources, APIs and third‑party services.
• Write and maintain robust unit tests and monitor live app performance.
• Debug complex issues and continuously optimise code.
• Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and promote a culture of engineering excellence.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Passion for building high‑quality, user‑centric mobile products.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Java for Android development.
• Swift for iOS development.
• Mobile architecture patterns (e.g., MVP, MVVM).
• Unit testing, performance monitoring, and debugging.
• API integration and third‑party SDK usage.
