Manager, Risk Management

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a high‑performing Manager for Customer Risk Management (CRM) to shape global strategy and enablement. Based in Bogota, Colombia, you will work within the Strategy & Operations organization, supporting a $90B credit exposure portfolio and partnering with senior leaders across the company and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global CRM strategy and roadmap that ensures consistency, scalability, and prioritization across regions.
• Design, lead, and operationalize enterprise‑wide CRM initiatives, initially focusing on new global risk mitigants for Mastercard customers.
• Collaborate with regional leads on credit risk assessments, negotiate and develop risk mitigation solutions alongside account managers and customers.
• Lead complex, cross‑functional projects to deliver priority items with urgency.
• Build strong relationships across global business units and act as secretary of the CRM Strategic Initiatives forum.

Required profile

• Significant experience in credit risk management; banking sector knowledge and familiarity with payments regulation are strong pluses.
• Strategic and commercial mindset with the ability to move between strategy, problem‑solving, and execution.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and structuring problems where precedent is limited.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, especially at senior management levels.
• Proven ability to lead across functions and regions globally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
