Medical Scribe – Remote (Colombia)

About the role

SnappyCX is looking for a detail‑oriented Medical Scribe based in Colombia to support U.S. healthcare providers remotely. You will work closely with physicians to capture accurate clinical documentation in real‑time or asynchronously, ensuring records are complete, organized, and HIPAA‑compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Document patient encounters accurately in the client’s EMR/EHR system.
• Prepare and update clinical notes, including histories, assessments, treatment plans, and follow‑up instructions.
• Assist providers with real‑time or asynchronous documentation and chart preparation.
• Enter patient information, medications, diagnoses, and procedures into the EMR/EHR.
• Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Communicate professionally with physicians, clinical staff, and the broader healthcare team.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Medical Scribe, Virtual Assistant, or Clinical Documentation Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, diagnoses, and common clinical procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Reliable computer, high‑speed internet, and a quiet workspace.
• Availability to work during U.S. business hours as needed.
