Python Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for experienced Python Backend Developers to join international projects with remote, distributed engineering teams. You will help design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable backend systems and applications for a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in technical discussions and solution design.
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and improve existing backend systems.
• Contribute to testing, documentation, code reviews, and best practices.
• Take ownership of your work and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Professional experience in backend development with Python.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining APIs and backend services.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and technical curiosity.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Advanced English communication skills.
