R2R Regional Lead

About the role

Monks Technology Services is seeking an R2R Regional Lead based in Bogotá to oversee Record‑to‑Report (R2R) activities across the region. Reporting to local finance leadership, you will act as the Global Process Owner, driving standardisation while managing day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the R2R team using NetSuite OneWorld ERP to ensure timely journal entries, revenue and balance‑sheet reconciliations, accruals, inter‑company transactions and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Review and approve journal entries and balance‑sheet reconciliations, guaranteeing accurate posting and compliance with group month‑end deadlines.
• Own balance‑sheet accounts, perform analytical reviews, prepare month‑end specifications and resolve any discrepancies.
• Oversee revenue recognition processes, including net revenue and work‑in‑progress.
• Conduct monthly balance‑sheet review meetings to maintain data integrity and address aging items.
• Support external and internal audits, providing evidence and following up on action plans.
• Prepare statutory financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAP and local regulations.
• Ensure compliance with regional tax rules, data‑protection laws and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Fully qualified accounting designation (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
• Minimum 4 years of experience leading an R2R team in a multi‑entity corporate finance environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite OneWorld ERP.
