Senior SAP FI/CO Finance & Controlling Consultant

About the role

Softtek Colombia is seeking an experienced SAP Finance & Controlling Senior Consultant to support short‑term transformation projects in Bogotá. The role focuses on implementing and optimizing SAP FI/CO modules within SAP S/4HANA Finance, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate business transformation initiatives through SAP ERP solutions.
• Lead workshops, gather requirements, and define functional specifications.
• Configure, test, and support SAP Finance and Controlling solutions.
• Collaborate with ABAP teams for enhancements and custom developments.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, tax and local regulations.
• Provide post‑go‑live support, knowledge transfer and user enablement.
• Leverage intelligent finance capabilities such as AI, predictive analytics and automation to improve decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Leadership and team coordination experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to transfer knowledge and enable users effectively.

Required skills

• SAP FI (Finance) and SAP CO (Controlling) implementation expertise.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Business process mapping, gap analysis, configuration, testing and post‑go‑live support.
• Functional specification development.
• Collaboration with ABAP development teams.
• Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, tax compliance and localizations.
• Familiarity with SAP Business AI, Generative AI tools (Joule, SAP BTP AI Core, AI Launchpad).
• Predictive analytics and intelligent finance initiatives.
• Financial close automation.
